Sugar-free Chocolate Ramekin Cake!

I had been craving chocolate cake for days, but my low-carb, low-sugar, high-protein, high-fibre diet won’t let me. I am usually not a chocolate-cake-kinda-girl, but when i am a chocolate-cake-kinda-girl i want it rich, dark and luscious. This cake hit all the right notes for me and definitely cured my sugar craving. With 217 Calories, 30.5 g of Carbs, 8.5 g of Fibre, 11 g of Protein, 8 g of Fat and 14.9 g of Natural sugar per serving, this chocolate cake is moist, lush and decadent! How’s that for a sugar-free, low-calorie and fibre-rich cake!

Sugar-Free Chocolate Ramekin Cake
Makes 2 (4″ Ramekins)

Key Players
Organic Coconut Flour – 2 tablespoons
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder – ¼ Cup
Cake Flour – 1 tablespoon
Baking Soda – ¼ teaspoon
Salt – A pinch
Coconut Oil – ½ tablespoon
Non-fat Greek Yogurt – ¼ Cup
Egg – 1
Date Paste – 3 tablespoons
Hot Water – ¼ Cup

Lets Bake!

  • Pre-heat your oven to 350 ° F/ 180 ° C/ Gas Mark 4
  • Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the wet ingredients
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix – batter will be thick
  • Pour the hot water into the batter and mix quickly
  • Mix the batter a little more to get rid of any lumps
  • Pour into greased ramekins
  • Bake for 12 mins
  • Let Cool
  • Indulge!
